Remember, we have a no-fail mission, and it is essential that everyone knows what must be done each day to successfully accomplish our mission. Clarify expectations and understand your role in achieving the desired end state, prioritize open communication by asking questions, and establish regular check-ins with your supervisor to confirm your understanding. Consider this checklist to confirm clarity:

• Ensure team understanding through regular meetings and end all meetings with clarity about action items, responsibilities, and due dates.
• Share written summaries of expectations and encourage input from all members.
• Reinforce daily what needs to be done to meet goals.
• Celebrate milestones to maintain morale.

It is vital that we all understand our contributions to achieving the desired end state.
