COLUMBUS, Ohio (11/11/17) — The Ohio State University honored U.S. military service members and veterans during its annual military appreciation football game on Nov. 11, Veterans Day, at Ohio Stadium. Ohio National Guard Soldiers and Airmen were involved in a variety of activities, including unfurling a large American flag across the field during the national anthem before the game, a 48-3 Buckeye victory. Maj. Gen. Mark E. Bartman, Ohio adjutant general, administered the oath of enlistment to a group of new Soldiers and Airmen on the field, welcoming a new crop of Ohio National Guard members into the organization.
