Maj. Gen. Deborah A. Ashenhurst, Ohio adjutant general, and other Ohio National Guard leaders recently hosted a delegation from the Serbian Ministry of Defense, including Aleksandar Vučić, first deputy prime minister of Serbia. The December 2012 visit was a continuation of the National Guard State Partnership Program pairing of Serbia and Ohio, which has been highlighted by periodic military, socio-political and economic exchanges and training exercises since the partnership began in 2006.
