Today’s Service Members face unique challenges in balancing their military and civilian careers. Because employers are an important part of our national security team, the Ohio National Guard Employer Outreach Office provides support by:
  1. Implementing the ONG Employer Advisory Council, which was formed for military-friendly employers in an effort to provide them with an Ohio National Guard “One Stop Shop” that helps them succeed with their recruitment and retention initiatives.
  2. Educating employers by inviting them to participate in hands-on Joint Employer Events, Call-to-Duty, Homecoming, Reintegration and Hometown Hero events.
  3. Recognizing employers by sending Patriotic Employer Certificates of Appreciation while their Soldier/Airman is deployed.
  4. Providing resources by linking employers with Employer Support of Guard and Reserve (ESGR) and connecting military-friendly employers with service members seeking jobs.
