Who May Apply: OPEN TO FEMALES.  OPEN TO CURRENT MILITARY MEMBERS OF THE OHIO ARMY NATIONAL GUARD IN GRADES SPC/E-4 THROUGH SGT/E-5.  SSG/E6 THROUGH SFC/E7 MAY APPLY BUT WILL BE REQUIRED TO TAKE AN ADMINISTRATIVE REDUCTION TO SGT/E5.  APPLICANTS MUST HAVE A CERTIFICATE OF COMPLETION FOR PHASE I SQI4 RECRUITING SCHOOL AND MUST BE ENROLLED INTO PHASE II SQI4 RECRUITING SCHOOL.

 

*ACCEPTANCE OF THIS TOUR WILL REQUIRE INDIVIDUAL TO REMAIN ON A CONTROLLED TOUR OF DUTY WITHOUT AVAILABILITY OF REASSIGNMENT OUTSIDE RECRUITING COMMAND FOR A MINIMUM OF FOUR (4) YEARS.

 

 

* Military membership is required to hold this position.  Current regulations require the individual selected for this position be assigned to an appropriate military position and be qualified in the duty MOS. If not already qualified, the selected applicant must be eligible to become qualified in the duty MOS.

10.  Selection criteria is based on military education, experience in career management field, source of MOS/AOC, civilian education and experience related to the position.

 

11.  Eligibility of Guard women will be consistent with applicable assignment policies of NGR 600-100 for Officers, NGR 600-101 for Warrant Officers and NGR 600-200 for Enlisted.

 

12.  Initial Entry Qualifications:  Must meet entry requirements of AR 135-18, NGR 600-5 and AR 40-501 Chapter 3.

 

13.  On-Board AGR QualificationsMust continue to meet requirements of AR 135-18 and NGR 600-5.
