July 13-17 is TRICARE Awareness Week. TRICARE is the healthcare program supporting active-duty service members, and select National Guard and Reserve members and Families. As National Guard and Reserve members transition from private insurance to TRICARE when deployed, it is important that physicians accept TRICARE to ensure continuity of care for them. With the assistance of some of Ohio’s leading health care associations, TRICARE Awareness Week brings attention to the need to increase the number of in-network and out-of-network providers accepting TRICARE.
