We strive to provide our Military Families and Youth with well rounded programming!
Our goal is to strengthen ties, create lifelong friends, and build leadership, resilience and camaraderie with other military families. (view program overview)

You know what best suits your family; so help us design the event around you!

We are looking for new ideas and locations for camps, events and programs in the areas where you live. Ideal venues would be low cost, easily accessible, community based and offer a variety of activities or programs. We know these places exist and need your help finding them. Please take time to share with us. Your contribution might be the next big success story that fills these pages.

Troop & Family Camps | Family Day Events |
Hero Camp & Strong Family Workshops


TROOP & FAMILY CAMPS -
Troop & Family Camps are designed for the whole family to spend a fun-filled weekend together strengthening ties and building camaraderie with other military families. Be sure to check the specific details for each camp on our website, as each camp has different activities, then pick the camp that best suits your family. Who defines your family? You do. Each camp will provide a unique experience. Activities that may be available at your selected camp are: waterskiing, sailing, kayaking, bike riding, family games, crafts, campfires, high ropes, zip line, canoeing, hiking, basketball, archery, fishing, and, more.

Note: Due to the popularity of these events please limit your family to 1 family camp per year.
$75.00* per family for the first 4 people then $10 per additional person

HERO Camp- Horse Farm, - Springboro, Ohio, 1-5:00 P.M.
Bring the kids out for an afternoon of discovering the therapy a horse can provide. Learn how working with horses can help us better understand ourselves!
Open to youth age 5-12 years. $10 per participant

HERO Camp- Columbus Zoo (9:00am - 1:00pm)
Join us for a great day at the Zoo!  Bring the family and enjoy a morning of programs including an animal encounter, have lunch, then the rest of the day is for your family to enjoy the zoo.
Activities open to all family ages 5 years old and up.
Cost: $12 per person

CLEVELAND AQUARIUM  
You’ve been to an aquarium but not like this!  Come join us for some overnight fun sleeping with the fishes. Parents are required to stay overnight.

Operation: Military Kids (OMK)

Initiative conceived and designed in January 2004 to support "Suddenly" Military Kids thru activities and programming specifically targeted to Youth of the guard and reserve component directly affected by the Global War on Terror. Ohio became an OMK State officially in March of 2005. Since its inception, OMK has been involved with and supported every event/activity executed by Ohio's Youth Program.
