A Note from the Director...

Welcome and thanks for stopping by.  First and foremost, Family Readiness is about making Military Families strong and ready, anytime, anywhere.  Our program is designed to serve the needs of Service Members and their Families, regardless of which uniform they wear, where they live in the State, young or old, married or single, retired, drilling or active.

Our program provides you with the opportunities to strengthen your Family and the tools to face unique challenges. Whether it's a financial or educational resource, a way to reinforce your good marriage, or fun opportunities to meet other Military Families, we are here to help.  Access to local resources and information on regional events like Marriage Enrichment Retreats, Youth Camps and Single Service Member Retreats is just a phone call away!

Ohio Tourism Industry Salutes Military Families, Joins with National Guard to Provide Discounts

The Ohio Tourism Division has partnered with the Ohio National Guard and Tourism Industry members across the state to provide military families the opportunity to make new memories together at an affordable price during their time on leave.

 Marriage Enrichment Seminars

The RFC is the first class that the FRG leadership team will attend. The main focus of this training is the "grassroots" level FRG. Within this one day training event are guidelines for establishing, maintaining, enhancing, and basic FRG operations. The main targeted audiences for this training event is the Commander (CDR), Military Liaisons (ML), FRG leadership teams (Statutory Volunteer) which include the FRG leader, assistant leader, secretary, and treasurer. The outcome for this training is to make sure that the Families and the service members are prepared and ready for a deployment at anytime and anywhere. This is a one time required class for the Commander, Military Liasion and Statutory Volunteers.
